After making her way up the Choptank River, FC Lewis Jr. was hauled out with the help of the Center’s neighbor, Bob Stine, of Black Dog Boat Works.

Lewis was set up landside at the Center to await preservation work as part of the Joppa Wharf Museum.  Preservation was completed in December 2002.
