Choptank River Access Point - Dover Bridge

Middle Choptank River Public Landing

The river access at the Caroline County (east) end of Dover Bridge is not a developed public access. The exit from the highway must be made with care.  There is little parking on the narrow track from the pavement to the river. Yet the location offers a reasonable soft landing for paddle craft; the only such access between Windy Hill and Kingston Landing.
