Joppa Wharf

Upper Choptank River Public Landing

Joppa Wharf is unique on the Choptank -- In Summer 2001 the reconstructed steamboat wharf and historic shipways will be completed.  Replica freight and passenger terminal buildings will serve as visitor centers and exhibits.  Skipjacks in the water and on the wharf will be restored as exhibits and for educational use. The shipways can serve as a soft landing for paddle craft.
