If you are using the RiverGuide on CD-ROM, rather than on the OHTMC web site, you do not have to download the ArcExplorer software. The software installation files are already located on the CD-ROM in this folder:

[CD drive]:\Downloads\ArcExplorer\

The ArcExplorer 2 installation file is called

ae2setup.exe

Locate this file with Windows Explorer, and double-click on the file to begin the installation on your hard disk.

The ArcExplorer 3 (Java) installation file is called

AE31JavaSetup.exe

Before you double-click on this file to install AE3, you must install the Java Runtime Environment file for Windows, called

j2re-1_3_0_02-win-i.exe

This file is located in the same folder. Double-click on each of these files to install them.
