Note:  During the winter season, tours, meetings, and other use of the Joppa Wharf Museum may be arranged through the CRHC Executive Director, Carl Scheffel, by calling 410-479-4950.  Paddle trips on the Choptank and Tuckahoe Rivers may be arranged through Chesapeake Water Sports & Outfitters.

Choptank River Heritage Center and Joppa Wharf Museum are located in West Denton, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.  From US 50, follow MD 404 eastbound, or from US 13, follow MD 404 westbound to Denton.

From MD 404 (the bypass around Denton) at the west end of the Choptank River bridge, turn right River Road, then left onto River Landing Road.
